A Message From Our SVP

Hello everyone!

My name is Alaina Heesacker, and I’m honored to serve as the Spring 2026 Senior Vice President (SVP) of Delta Sigma Pi. In this role, I’m committed to leading an engaging and welcoming recruitment season, filled with events designed to help you learn more about our incredible DSP community.

Throughout recruitment, you’ll gain insight into the four pillars that shape our brotherhood: Professionalism, Brotherhood, Community Service, and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). Recruitment is not only a chance for you to get to know us, but a chance for us to get to know you. We’re excited to meet you and share our own “why DSP” stories along the way.

Being a brother of the Psi Chapter here at UW has been the most transformative and meaningful part of my college experience. I couldn’t imagine my time here without the friendships, support, and sense of belonging I’ve found through our chapter. From professional development to finding a home away from home, DSP made the business school feel smaller, more connected, and gave me a community I’m proud to be a part of.

What makes our brotherhood so special is the effort each of us puts into it. Every brother plays a role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment, and I’m grateful to be part of such a dedicated group of people. We all come from different backgrounds, and it’s that diversity that makes our chapter feel like a true family.

I’m so excited for you all to be part of recruitment this upcoming semester, and I look forward to leading it with the same care and intention others showed me when I rushed, helping create an inclusive, empowering space for everyone who is interested in joining our chapter.
