A Message From Our SVP

Hello everyone!

My name is Whitney Lapper, and I’m honored to serve as the Fall 2026 Senior Vice President (SVP) of Delta Sigma Pi. In this role, I’m committed to creating an engaging, welcoming, and unforgettable recruitment season filled with events that give you the opportunity to learn more about our incredible DSP community.

Throughout recruitment, you’ll gain insight into the four pillars that shape who we are as a fraternity: Professionalism, Brotherhood, Community Service, and Diversity & Inclusion. Recruitment is not only an opportunity for you to get to know us, but also a chance for us to get to know you. We’re so excited to meet you, hear your stories, and share our own “Why DSP” stories along the way.

Being a brother of the Psi Chapter here at UW has been one of the most transformative and meaningful parts of my college experience. Whether it’s running into brothers while walking down State Street, having a familiar face to say hello to between classes, or always knowing there’s a table in the business school where I can stop by, DSP has truly become my home away from home.

What makes our brotherhood so special is the effort that each and every one of us puts into it. Every brother plays a role in creating a supportive, welcoming, and inclusive environment, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and close-knit community. We all come from different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life, and it’s that diversity that makes our chapter feel like a true family.

I’m especially excited to serve as SVP because I remember exactly what it felt like to be in your shoes. When I went through recruitment, I walked into the first event not knowing what to expect, but I left knowing that DSP was somewhere I wanted to be. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to help create that same feeling for future recruits, making sure everyone feels welcomed, valued, and excited about the possibility of becoming part of our brotherhood.

I’m so excited to welcome you all to recruitment this upcoming semester, and I can’t wait to create an unforgettable rush experience together. The brothers of the Psi Chapter are looking forward to meeting you, learning more about you, and helping you explore everything Delta Sigma Pi has to offer.
